Kids and teens are busy, and their smiles are still growing and changing. Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners that keep up with school, sports, and pictures, with a doctor personally watching every step of the way.

We suggest a first check-up around age 7 so we can watch how the smile is developing. That early look often means simpler care later, and there is no pressure to start treatment early. When the time is right, options include braces, clear braces, and clear aligners, including Invisalign, Spark, Angel Aligner, uLab, and an in-house aligner option. We also offer airway-aware care, an approach designed to support healthy breathing and sleep as the jaw develops.

If and when treatment makes sense, your doctor builds a plan around school, sports, and your family’s schedule, and explains it clearly.

Your child’s progress is monitored personally by their doctor at every visit, from that first look to the final smile.

Common questions

Isn't my child too young?

Probably not for a first look. We suggest a check-up around age 7 so we can watch how the smile is developing, and in most cases the answer is simply to keep an eye on things. There is no pressure to start treatment early, and the visit gives you clear answers.

Will braces get in the way of sports or band?

Kids stay active in braces and aligners all the time, including sports and playing instruments. For contact sports we will talk about protecting the mouth so your child can keep doing what they love, and most students adjust quickly.

How long does treatment take?

It varies from smile to smile, since every child is different. At your visit we will give you a clear, honest estimate based on what we see, so you know what to expect before anything begins.
